  We love the veterinarians here. This time we had to let our 15 year old cat go. The staff is friendly and helpful even though they are usually very busy.

  Before I start I would like to mention that I have been to this business once and only once. I called several vet places in Mountain Home and this was quoted the cheapest. When I arrived at 7:30 on a Wednesday morning the lady instructed me to wait for a phone call to pick up my cat. My cat was to be shaved, bathed, and put under anesthesia. I was instructed that I would get a phone call in the time span of 2:30-5:00. (5:00 is when they close) 4:40 rolls around and I am starting to worry. I was the first one who showed up that day so wouldn't that mean my cat would be ready first? I called to ask if my cat was ready for pickup and I was informed that he was. The lady on the phone mentions that they close at 5:00 and if they had to they would keep my cat overnight. (They instructed me to not feed my cat past 9pm the previous night.) Frustrated and offended I tell the lady she will not do that and I will pick up my cat now. She was very rude. I showed up with my friend and got my cat around 5:15. They were not closed! A lady was checking out when I got there. I told the lady what I was informed and she says, "Oh, we don't call. You just show up to see if he is done or not." Why was I told otherwise? 1 star for this business because although the price was the cheapest, their communication skills lack severely. I will not be going back. When I am threatened with my own cat? Try again, please!
